11/11 Sampanthamit Road, Udon Thani
The '@ Home at Udon' hotel is located right in the heart of the main nightlife area, less than 100m from the Day and Night complex, and a 5 minute walk from Nutty Park and Central Plaza.
The hotel offers comfortable accommodation as well as a concierge, and room service. Featuring an airport shuttle and wireless internet access in public areas, this hotel provides guests with an ideal base while in Udon Thani. The hotel also offers massage services, however they do not object to you taking one of the girls from the nearby massage parlours to your room for a massage and anything else that may follow. Rooms are air conditioned and equipped with a refrigerator, flat-screen TV and some with an kitchenette, or at least a large sink on the balcony for washing plates, clothes etc. Rooms have bottled water supplied every day, and all rooms have an in-room safe and a desk with an electrical outlet. Rooms cost from about 650 baht per night for standard accommodation.

@ Home At Udon Review
As I live here, it is not too often that I need to make use of any of the hotels in Udon Thani but I have stayed here on several occassions, in a 'superior' room and a 'standard' room. The superior rooms are not especially large, but certainly big enough for a comfortable stay. The room was absolutely immaculate when I arrived, and was well presented. It was also very good to see the shower unit and toilet have a dividing screen to prevent the water splashing all over the place from the shower. The balcony was a bonus as so many Udon Thani hotels do not feature this small but useful 'add-on', something that is very handy if you are a smoker, or want to hang out some clothes to dry. The wardrobe space and range of drawers is pretty good but as with most hotels in Udon Thani, there are not many hangers in the wardrobes - I think there were six in my room, which is okay for a few days.
Another feature that is often scarce, especially in Udon Thani hotels that are predominantly for Thai guests, is a kettle with tea and coffee supplied each day. I have to start my day with a coffee or two so was very happy to see this in place. It is also worth noting that the beer sold at the @ Home At Udon Hotel is very well priced, and much lower than the cost at the local bars for the same sized bottles. A small bottle of Leo for 40 baht for example, compared to 70 baht or more in the bars. If you need a small bedside table or unit to place the likes of your watch, wallet, books etc, then the room I stayed in had one inside the room, and another on the balcony. It is just a shame the view from the balcony is disappointing, although that was hardly surprising given its location in the city centre. It still makes for a useful addition so you can enjoy a drink and a spot of relaxation outside, and still away from the traffic.
The standard rooms are a little smaller, with fewer items of furniture, and no kettle or coffee & tea. All the same, the rooms are still very comfortable, and on the ground floor.
All in all, I have enjoyed many nights here, in what also proved to be a very quiet location. Considering this is rated as a 2-star hotel, it is actually rather impressive and well worth staying in, even for the medium to long term. I am not sure what the difference is between the superior room and deluxe room is, though I believe the deluxe room is more specious.
